HEARTSAVER CPR AND AED
AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an AED in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Heartsaver Instructor-led training is conducted in a classroom setting and features group interaction and hands-on coaching and feedback from an AHA Instructor.
BLS
The AHA’s BLS Course provides the foundation for saving lives from cardiac arrest. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.
ACLS
Medical professionals who respond to cardiovascular emergencies in and out of the hospital enhance their treatment knowledge and skills through the AHA’s ACLS training courses. AHA’s ACLS offerings highlight the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. They also cover airway management and related pharmacology.
PALS
The AHA’s PALS Course is for healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. The goal of PALS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.
